The Great Distraction in the Final Mile

It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

Mark Twain

The world is made up of stories. Narratives that lead us in the direction of Love and expansion. Narratives that lead us in the direction of fear and contraction. Narratives that confuse us into believing we are loving, when in fact, we are paralyzed by fear. Ultimately we choose the narrative that best suits our conditioning, beliefs, and consciousness. Do we follow the herd of separation? Do we resist the herd with anger, resistance, and further separation? Or do we remove ourselves entirely from the narratives of separation, choosing instead the deeper inner Truth that connects, unifies, and heals?

Different worlds arise from our choice between fear or Love. If we choose to see the world through the lens of fear, we will see a world of isolation, distancing, sanitization, lockdowns, judgment, division, anxiety, hostility, and depression. If we choose to see the world through the lens of Love, however, we will witness these fearful manifestations from afar while seeing through the illusion of it all.

In a world that is deeply divided in so many ways, this may well be my least popular post. Regardless, I feel compelled to press on while freedom of speech is still a reality and dissenting voices are not yet silenced. This is not a post about the story of Covid, nor its resistance. This is a post about our humanity. Gandhi once said, “Many people, especially ignorant people, want to punish you for speaking the truth, for being correct, for being you. Never apologize for being correct, or for being years ahead of your time. If you’re right and you know it, speak your mind. Speak your mind. Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is still the truth.”

I am choosing to speak my truth. It is one of connection, unity, and healing. More simply, Love, Divine Love, the binding force of Life.

The Great Unravelling

Since childhood, I’ve always felt I would live long enough to witness the beginning of the healing of the planet. I also knew that this planetary healing was impossible with humanity still in residence. While I’m no soothsayer, I believe that we’ve reached what I now call, “The Decade of Demise”. How far into this decade will this reality manifest is anyone’s guess. I’ve often questioned whether I’d reach my 60th birthday. I’m currently in my 58th year of life.

It’s not news that that the world of our creation is falling apart at the seams. Every frayed thread in the Great Unravelling is woven into the same tattered fabric of separation from Source/Universe/Life/God. Despite its enduring longevity, separation has never been the truth of what we are. It is the grand illusion of a barren individuality that attacks Life in every imaginable capacity; from anyone and anything it perceives as “other”, to one’s self. Despite centuries of normalization, separation is an illusion…a Big Lie. It is at the root of every problem on our planet, individually and collectively. Every lie has a shelf life, however; an expiry date that inevitably exposes it for what it was all along. Our current pandemic of mass hysteria has created an epidemic of infantilism that is expediting our demise in ways that are potentially outpacing biosphere collapse.

Collectively, we keep adjusting downward in great leaps, and the masses barely look up. How does one wake up from the matrix when they don’t even know they’re in a matrix? We’ve become much too divided to see anything with clarity anymore. The media-entranced masses have become snarling snitches, judging anyone who challenges their belief in the prevailing narrative with systemic dehumanization and discrimination. Sophomoric labels of separation prevail: “extreme right”, “conspiracy theorists”, “anti-vaxxers”, “anti-maskers”, “Trump fanatics”, selfish psychopaths, terrorists, disease spreaders, and so on. As Thomas Aquinas said, “Fear is such a powerful emotion for humans that when we allow it to take us over, it drives compassion right out of our hearts.”

We are living in a war between the status quo of Covitites/maskers/vaxxers and anti-Covidites/anti-maskers/anti-vaxxers. Very few have retained the capacity to see beyond it all. There is a density of consciousness in a mass collective willingly being led by the ring in their nose toward slaughter of conscience and soul.

Judgment is the most pervasive form of mental illness on the planet. It is a potent poison with far-reaching impact, from shame and annoyance to hostility and war. We are all plagued with this separation sickness to some degree, attacking ourselves and each other with its toxic projection. Judgment is the ego’s greatest mechanism for ensuring the longevity of self-severance.

Whenever we do not share a common thought system, we weaken it. Those who believe in it, however, perceive this as a personal attack because thought systems weave themselves into the identity portion of the human psyche. If the center of a thought system is true, only Truth/Love extends from it. But if a lie is at its center of a thought system, fear, attack and deception project from it. The opposition to Truth lies in the sick minds of the insane, dedicated to the madness of separation and set against the majesty of Life. The insane protect their thought systems, and they do so insanely. Their defenses are as insane as what they are trying to protect.

Illusions are as powerful in their effects as is the Truth. When our primary mode of thinking is steeped in blame and judgment, lovelessness is at the root of our separation. This traps us in illusion. The mind remains just as powerful in its capacity to manifest, however. The law of cause and effect holds sway whether we are thinking from love or fear. When we think from fear, disconnected from love, we still manifest a world. That world is at the effect of our loveless thoughts. It is a world of suffering, pain, brutality, projection, polarity, division, chaos, depression, anxiety, and death. That is our world. Our insane, loveless thinking has manifested an insane, loveless world. That is hell.

Anything that engenders fear is divisive because it obeys the laws of separation. Our separation from Life has led us to irreverence toward Earth, toward other people, toward the natural world, toward animals, and toward ourselves. That is the definition of insanity. It is this insanity that has informed how we function in human civilization with our rugged arrogance. The result is chaos. When fear is present, we live in a state of constriction. Uncertainty and confusion create chaos, leading to hostility, polarization, division, oppression, and ever-increasing complexity. Complexity is a direct manifestation of the ego, or the societally conditioned self. The more enmeshed we are with this illusory aspect of what we believe ourselves to be, the more compressed and complex the world will be. Our lives feel like an inhale: busy, distracted, and chaotic. When love is present, however, there is an expansion that is often expressed through tolerance, acceptance, collaboration, caring, and compassion. Our lives feel like an exhale: simple, easy, and peaceful.

Malignancy of Consciousness

The thought system of the ego/conditioned self is a thought system based on fear. It is the thought system that dominates the world in which we live. The ego is our hatred of self/other posing as our self/other “love”. It believes it has all the answers and vehemently denies the mystery and greater intelligence of Life in its tireless and insane quest for certainty.

The ego will always substitute chaos for meaning, for if separation is salvation, harmony is a threat. Selective perception chooses its witnesses carefully, and its witnesses are consistent. The case for insanity is strong to the insane. Selective perception will constantly reinforce one’s beliefs for the reality they devote themselves to. The ego always seeks to divide and separate. The Soul/Spirit, on the other hand, always seeks to unify and heal.

The ego is a malignancy of consciousness that believes it is separate from Source/Universe/Life/God. It is the difference between intellect/fear/scarcity consciousness and mind/love/unity consciousness; between flesh and spirit; separation and Oneness. In its self-justified insanity, ego “love” can rationalize anything. It finds “love” and normalcy in sacrifice, compromise, distancing, hostility, betrayal, lying, shaming, cheating, abuse, isolation, punishment, pain, suffering, depression, anxiety, tension, fear, and even death. The world is entirely set up to support and nurture these darkened perceptions. It has normalized the abnormal by distrusting nature, including our own bodies, immune systems, and each other. Anything that perpetuates fear and separation also perpetuates madness. The ego is the symbol of fear and separation. The Soul is the symbol of Life. Life needs no sanitization, masking, distancing, lockdowns, vaccines, or any other expression of insanity in today’s loveless world.

Through the lens of Divine Love, our world is madness made manifest. Divine love is natural and free. It is the awareness of our Oneness with Life.

Fear, especially when catalyzed by corporate “science” is virtually impossible to penetrate. It roots itself deep in the psyche and rapidly morphs into dogma. As Robert Anton Wilson once wrote, “The obedient always think of themselves as virtuous rather than cowardly.” Many people have become compliant, unrelenting advocates and rigid authorities for delivering the all-pervasive media message du-jour, often at the expense of creating greater division. Our distrustful obsession with finger-pointing has eroded our infantile consciousness into nothingness. Covid has destroyed the social fabric of what makes up the truth of our humanity: connection. We cannot perpetuate an illusion about our civilization and each other without perpetuating an illusion about ourselves. Our minds are so profoundly separated that we have become terrified of what we are.

The Contagion of Fear

While I’m not disputing the story of a new virus or the lives lost since the inception of this story, I am disputing the insane reaction to it all. Covid has not destroyed the world we once knew. Our unwavering attachment to belief in the story has.

In a world that was already polarized, the Covid narrative has provoked a sweeping fear and distrust of each other. Our alienation from the natural world, including our own bodies, has exasperated our duality. Humanity has become terrified of their own nature, falling prey to media/government/“science” invoked beliefs that support the ongoing divide between flesh and Spirit. When we don’t feel safe within ourselves, we can never feel safe in the world. The powers that be know this. A terrified collective is easy to control. The status quo has willingly given their minds away to the prevailing narrative with no questions asked. Very few have developed immunity toward this mad illusion.

The psychic contagions of fear, anxiety, and despair travel faster than anything physically spread in the air. As we have already seen, they can pervade a global collective overnight, and that compromised mental state can activate anything: virus, disease, epidemic, pandemic, social unrest, violence, war, and so much more. When we fear anything, we acknowledge its power to hurt us.

Overnight people who once loved and trusted each other became fearful, cautious, and divisive in their beliefs about the prevailing narrative. “Love” was mangled into meaning something it is not. It became about distancing, isolating, sanitizing, and masking. Our natural humanity of breath and touch now incites fear, revulsion, and a mad panic to sanitize as quickly as possible. Tactile relationships with neighbors, family members, and friends have been digitized to suppress our longing for real connection.

The fear and oppression imposed by corporate science, governments, and media have warped our minds, allowing us to rationalize the irrational and normalize the perverse. We have all been infected. This virus shows up in every one of us because it is relational. Those who are wedded to the prevailing narrative, though they may not have been infected in a physical sense, have been infected by the all-pervasiveness of it all. Covid has become the greatest virus of the mind to sweep the globe in one fell swoop. As Dan Brown said, “Only one form of contagion travels faster than a virus. And that’s fear.”

Strange and strained relationships with family and friends with polarizing views now prevail. The lines between “safety” and paranoia have been blurred. People we once knew as friends are no more. Fear has infected their minds and poisoned their humanity. They’ve bought the story with such conviction that it’s virtually impossible to connect meaningfully anymore. A mind so utterly locked down in fear is difficult to penetrate. The hardest part is saying goodbye to once-loving relationships with people who are now a fraction of who they once were. In many ways, this reality is showing us the true colors of most people, and that true color is fear (and all of its derivatives: worry, concern, anxiety, caution, aggression, trepidation, timidity, hesitation, unease, etc.). Shirley MacLaine said it well, “Fear makes strangers of people who would be friends.” Fear removes us from the truth of what we are. In the removal of that core Truth, we are separate. Ironically, most people will deny that they’re afraid, but ask them to look into your eyes and hug you in their natural, naked humanity, without mask, vaccine, and free from all shields of fear, and the truth quickly comes out. In the wise words of Jiddu Krishnamurti, “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”

I have always had a simple barometer for Truth: anything that unifies, connects, harmonizes, creates peace, expansion, understanding, compassion, and inspires Divine Love, is real. Anything that separates, isolates, distances, oppresses, constricts, or otherwise causes fear, concern, rigid thinking, worry, panic, or anxiety, is a lie. It is not the truth of what we are. Period. Humanity has blindly bought into a global lie at the expense of itself. Adolph Hitler knew the power of the Big Lie. As he shared in his autobiography, Mein Kampf, “Tell a lie so “colossal” that no one could believe that someone would have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously”. We are eating our own tails and soon there will be nothing left.

Fear, the Great Killer

I’m blessed to be surrounded by amazing friends with expansive vision and critical thinking skills intact. I cherish these beautiful people. Along with my animal family (who could care less about the insane human dramas of our world), these friends have become my lifeline for Love and sanity in an increasingly hostile and insane world. Many new friends have also come into my life; people who have surprised me with their willingness to see beyond the veil of illusion. People from all walks of life who I would not have normally considered to be such committed visionary allies. In many ways, the true, essential nature of people is finally showing.

On the flip side, I’ve also found the need to release a handful of friends who were once dear to me. Childhood friends who have since become shadows of who they once were, so steeped in fear of natural body responses, coughing, sneezing…hugs. It is a real test of love to stand by someone who treats you as a disease. I’m not yet strong enough within myself to endure that, so I choose instead to simply let go. In many ways, the cult of Covid has won. It has blackened the hearts and altered the minds of so many. Those who have not lost the capacity for self-connection and critical thought now live among ghosts. They are not friendly spirits either. Fear is like that. It constricts, suffocates, and creates rigid thinking. The great irony is that fear is a welcome mat for disease, pain, suffering, anxiety, and even death. There is no vaccine for that.

A friend recently shared an ancient story that goes something like this:

The Goddess of Death decides to pay a visit to a village protected by the Goddess of Protection. The Goddess of Protection refuses to allow her in. The Goddess of Death explains that she must let her in to allow for the natural cycle of life. After some deliberation, the Goddess of Protection permits the Goddess of Death into the village with the stipulation that she can only take two bodies. The following day, the Goddess of Death arrives with ten bodies. The Goddess of Protection is both dismayed and devastated when she sees this. “I said only two”, said the Goddess of Protection. The Goddess of Death replied, “I only took two. The other eight died of fear.”

The Pandemic of Fear

When refusal to think beyond the bounds of social consciousness dictates, compliance, rigidity, and fear are the only possible outcomes. When fear of the unknown is imposed, fear of the unknown is accepted. Closed-mindedness is the result of critical thinking denied. To be closed-minded is to be judgmental (masks/no masks, isolation dogma, and vaccine shaming, for instance). Close-mindedness also denies the possibility of anything existing outside of that which can be experienced beyond the perceptual senses of the body. When we look at our world today, the physical manifestations of this constricted consciousness are everywhere, from fear disguised as faux politesse, to suspicion, tattling, shaming, dirty looks, curfews, and hoarding; to the social distancing/isolating dogma and oppressive rules forbidding freedom of movement and natural expression. There is nothing more terrifying than a human being driven by fear. Trading the freedom of our natural humanity for the unnatural illusion of “safety” is foolhardy. Toilet paper was only the beginning of the fight over the scraps that will soon remain in the Great Unravelling in this Decade of Demise. Let’s not forget the immensity of our insanity. We are the only species that factory farms and slaughters billions of animals annually for its own perverse consumption. We are the only species that believes war is peace. And we are the only species that systematically destroys its own habitat without a second thought. In our separation madness, omnicide is the only outcome we seek, whether we choose to acknowledge this or not.

Not only have we given our minds away to a pandemic of fear, but we’ve also given our bodies and freedoms away to the control measures that supposedly “keep us safe”. But safe from what? At what cost to our sanity and humanity? Do we want to live in a world of fear? Are we so afraid of the story of illness and “death” that we are willing to sacrifice Life? Is further separation the only answer we’re willing to entertain for solving the problems already created by our separation madness? Life does not thrive in isolation. This is not a recipe for a Life-affirming future. Is this the world we want to live in? How can we possibly love Life when we live in such terror of death?

As long as we accept the oppressive external thoughts that have been imposed upon us, we will never activate the expansive mind to receive and experience any thoughts other than those that support the prevailing narrative. It’s very easy to be genius these days. We need only to think for ourselves: from the inside, out. The corporate media, medical systems, and governments are dangerous distractions from sourcing the deeper truths that free us from it all.

The real killers in this ludicrous “pandemic” are the silenced killers: Lost livelihoods, elevated anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, mental illness, loneliness/isolation, alcoholism, drug abuse, suicide, polarization, division, and the total absence of critical thought. Locking down, social distancing, isolation, sanitizing, masking, and vaccinating will never bring us closer to ourselves or each other. Our true nature is one of Wholeness through mental/emotional/physical health, unity, and connection.

“Salvation” comes from remembering who we are. When we remember who we are, the prevailing thought system of the world loses its grip on the mind. The only thing that can save us from the insanity of the world is to eliminate the ego’s obsession to engage with it. When we stop engaging with it, we stop perpetuating the madness. The relief is instantaneous and we start noticing what really matters: Simplicity. Connection. Love.

Fear is the only virus. Love is the only cure.

The “Invisible” Elephant that has Outgrown the Room

I believe the reason that most people are so reactive to the prevailing narrative, including “intelligent” people who would normally see with more clarity, is because it triggers the separate self’s (ego) existential fear of death. The global Covid pandemic narrative is by far the most elaborate story ever created for the greatest human experiment ever attempted in history. By aggravating the primal connection to corporeal existence, few are exempt from the psychological fear this alarm instills. One must be connected to the infinite, Divine Truth of what they are to feel beyond the fear, and to see with inner clarity, the massive lie we are all now living within. It is only with this deep self-connection that we can see beyond the story into absolute Truth: that Love/Oneness is not only what we are, it is the foundation of our humanity. When this core Truth is stripped away, we are dehumanized.

The powerful alliance of mainstream “science”, technology, media, and government has demoralized the global masses into subservient compliance. Built on the foundation of separation through scarcity, fear, and oppression, these institutions authoritatively command the attention that destroys any capacity for autonomous thought. Mainstream science distances us from our inner knowing and prevents us from facing into the more expansive Truth that lives within. It denatures us through the separation of flesh from Spirit.

When we look at the team of players perpetuating this dysfunctional reality, clarity becomes evident:

Mainstream scientific thought is the denial of mystery to create certainty in an uncertain, ever-changing world. It is the denial of our inherent birthright of Oneness to sustain the deluded belief in our finite corporeal “superiority”.

Advanced technology without advanced consciousness does not create advancement. It creates further distancing that inevitably leads to demise. We need only look at the outcome of stories we’ve been told about advanced technological civilizations throughout history to see where we are headed.

The media perpetuates the prevailing narrative through its incessant barrage of repetitive messaging. It feeds supportive narratives to the gluttonous, addictive nature of a separated mind trapped in fear.

Governments lay down the laws, no matter how insane they may be. Questioning is now punished in ever increasing measures.

With a compliant collective bowing at its mercy, this unholy alliance is a recipe for nothing less than omnicide. The planet will inevitably thank us in the end, however.

Distraction from Bigger Issues

No matter how backwoods or isolated the places and spaces I go, there is not a single place exempt from the fallout of this madness. In the trees, on the ground, in the water; the pale blue evidence of insanity. Masks are everywhere. They’ve become the latest form of pervasive litter to infect the Decade of Demise, the cigarette butts of the 2020s.

While I have no interest in vaccine debates in any capacity, I also have no qualms about expressing my dismay over its creation, and especially the heavy-handedness in which it is being enforced and implemented. According to the story we’ve been told, killing and eating animals is what got us into this mess. Injecting ourselves with foreign substances that contain the Life force of brutalized animals will not get us out. Insanity knows no bounds. Much like Israeli Rabbi Chananya Weissman, I trust my intuition and natural instincts. In a recent blog post he states:

“I see all the lies, corruption, propaganda, manipulation, censorship, bullying, violation of medical ethics, lack of integrity in the scientific process, suppression of inconvenient adverse reactions, dismissal of legitimate concerns, hysteria, cult-like behavior, ignorance, closed-mindedness, fear, medical and political tyranny, concealment of protocols, lack of true concern for human life, lack of respect for basic human rights and freedoms, perversion of the Torah and common sense, demonization of good people, the greatest medical experiment of all time being conducted by greedy, untrustworthy, godless people, the lack of liability for those who demand I risk everything…I see all this and I have decided they can all have my place in line. I will put my trust in God. I will use the mind He blessed me with and trust my natural instincts. Which leads to the final reason which sums up why I will not get ‘vaccinated.'”

While the world focuses on the delusion of recovery from the devastating mental, emotional and economic fallout produced by the pandemic narrative, we must remember that there is no solution or vaccine for the existential threat of biosphere collapse. Not only is it outpacing every other threat of human and societal collapse on the planet, but it is also a far more serious threat than anything we can conceive. Even in our insanity, we cannot survive on an uninhabitable planet.

Let’s also not delude ourselves into believing that anything will ever be “normal” again. What is a return to “normal” anyway? It’s not like we weren’t wearing masks and isolating ourselves before the declaration of Covid. It was just not something that we thought about behind our fears of vulnerability and the false personas we presented to others. We were masked and isolated long before the word, “Covid” entered our vocabulary.

Let’s face it, our global civilization has been comatose for far too long. We cannot breathe life into what was already dead. No matter what plays out, the world will never be the same.

***

A recent group email exchange led to this potent offering from one of the members of this small group, “Apart from the human-caused destruction of climate systems, there isn’t anything to fear in this once-beautiful world except the abject stupidity of a species that is so insane that it manufactures needles with which to inject poisons into already-poisoned bodies, and masks with which to restrict unrestricted inhalation of oxygen. It’s a wonder that we can even feed ourselves, and we may yet be crawling around on all fours looking for something to eat.”

Covid is ugly. Not because of the story we’ve been told about illness and death, but because of what we’ve become, and how we’ve chosen to act toward each other in the face of it. Covid has shone a spotlight on our omnicidal ways, on our separation madness.

The flying bullets of venom are everywhere. Many people feel justified in their righteous indignation, attacking each other with verbal assaults and judgmental trigger “happiness”. But this is not “reality”. This is madness. This is not the realm of perception and experience that will ever lead us to peace. We will never find salvation as individuals or as a species in this madness.

The collective gaze is so finely tuned to look outward, distracting itself with the dramas it can put names to; the dramas that soil the psyche and prevent it from seeing/feeling into something much greater. We have always had so much potential, but when wedded to illusion, potential disappears.

As stated in A Course in Miracles:

Truth does not fight against illusions, nor do illusions fight against the Truth. Illusions battle only with themselves. No one wants madness, nor does anyone cling to his madness if he sees that this is what it is. What protects madness is the belief that it is true. It is the function of insanity to take the place of Truth.

How does one overcome illusions? Surely not by force or anger, nor by opposing them in any way. Merely by letting reason tell you that they contradict reality. They go against what must be true. The opposition comes from them, and not reality. Reality opposes nothing. What merely is needs no defence, and offers none. Only illusions need defence because of weakness. And how can it be difficult to walk the way of truth when only weakness interferes? You are the strong one in this seeming conflict. And you need no defence. Everything that needs defence you do not want, for anything that needs defence will weaken you.

Forget not, when you feel the need arise to be defensive about anything, you have identified yourself with an illusion. And therefore feel that you are weak because you are alone. This is the cost of all illusions. Not one but rests on the belief that you are separate.

Let truth decide if you and your brother be different or the same, and teach you which is true.

While I’m very much a work in progress, I trust what I know from within. This differentiates me. I feel compassion for so many people living in such constriction that they only allow themselves to know the fear imposed by a dysfunctional, external “reality”. I can’t imagine how exhausting it would be to live that way. I’m grateful that I don’t.

Judgement and hate are powerful fuel for samsara, the wheel of suffering. Despite the fact that we’ve established a perverse comfort zone in this illusion, it’s not our home. It’s not the truth of who we are, what we are, or why we’re here. It’s not the realm of Life. The potency of choosing another way, in turning the other cheek, changes worlds. Love created every one of us like itself, and love holds no grievances. As Yogi Bhajan said, “If you can’t see God in all, you can’t see God at all.”

Feel, Heal and Be Real

The past year has been devoted to a focused journey of healing. Through this journey, I’ve discovered the immense power of forgiveness toward someone who betrayed my ego/body, yet who also freed my Soul. By prying the pain, shock, and ego away from the event, I realize the brilliance of it all. It’s been a year of humility, tolerance, and compassion toward myself and others. The profundity of this healing has expanded outward in ways I could have never imagined.

I have since forgiven all the players involved in the painful event that changed my life in 2020. I have forgiven myself for my part in the unfolding of the event of last year, and I continue to forgive myself for errors of my past. With the relationships I’ve opened myself to since then, I have a depth of connection that transcends anything I’ve ever known. I’ve also discovered a greater ability to see beyond the personal stories created as barricades against one’s self, against others, and against the world. I’ve embraced more tenderness, tolerance, acceptance, and gentleness: of others and myself. Forgiveness has expanded my world. I forgive the world. Forgiveness has proven to be the path toward clear vision and the ability to see Truth.

I am exponentially happier in my life. The animals I share my life with are happier, and the relationships I have with everyone in my life are richer and happier. There is a sacred quality to every aspect of my life that was missing before. My willingness to stay the course, trust the process and see beyond the stories of separation within myself and others has proven that a commitment to healing can change the world. It has certainly changed mine.

I have created a beautiful life for myself amidst the shock and pain of betrayal, and amidst a global narrative that has created constriction for so many. Perception is truly a choice.

We are never at the effect of what we don’t ourselves first cause. I was not at the effect of my personal reality. We are not at the effect of this Covid reality, nor are we at the effect of biosphere collapse. We are at cause for all of it. We have the free will, however, to choose how we live, and who we become in the face of it.

Only Love is real. Everything else is an illusion that traps us in self-imposed separation. Our greatest work on this planet is the undoing of all separation. Our greatest relationship in this human incarnation is the one we have with Source…God…Life. That is our salvation. That is the planet’s salvation.

***

I wind down this lengthy essay with a powerful quote from A Course in Miracles that states, “Only the sane can look on stark insanity and raving madness with pity and compassion, and not with fear. For only if they share in it does it seem fearful, and you do share in it until you look upon your brother with perfect faith and love and tenderness.”

Several years ago I had a yoga teacher who would end every practice with this beautiful quote, “The light in me sees the light in you.” That is our true nature, regardless of the dictates of the ego. I’ve learned acceptance on a grand scale over my lifetime, and especially in this past year. I know that I’m not exceptional. If I can find it in my heart to accept anyone and everyone as they are, we all can. That is our birthright in the Oneness that unites us all. Personally, I’m no longer willing to see the illusion of “difference” anymore. Not only is it inauthentic, it’s just so damned exhausting.

So let’s lay down the sword of fear and stop blaming, shaming, judging, and otherwise attacking each other. Let’s wipe the sleep from our eyes and wake up. Let’s look beyond the illusion of body and ego and feel into the Oneness that seamlessly unites us all. Let’s choose to grow up.

Let’s choose to be kind. It’s the least we can do as we walk this final mile together.

******

Personal note: There comes a time when we not only outgrow our message, we outgrow the need for a message at all; when living it fully is more powerful than disseminating it.

As Neale Donald Walsch wrote:

“There comes a time in the evolution of every Soul when the chief concern is no longer survival of the physical body, but the growth of spirit; no longer the attainment of worldly success, but the realization of Self.”

I’ve reached a place of peaceful acceptance in my life where my only “mission” is to live. I honestly have nothing left to say.

Thank you for your ongoing support all these years. You mean a lot to me.

Be well. Remember what you are. You are Source, Spirit … God.

Nothing can ever hurt you in that remembrance.

With love.

Debbie
